perceptive child
This morning as we were all waking up, Ellie crawled into bed and decided to sing the ABCs to "my little baby" as she likes to call her new little brother/sister. Midsong she stopped and said, "Wow, your bum is getting bigger too mom!" Ryan laughed and replied, rather undiplomatically, "She's a perceptive child." Watch out J Lo!

Too funny! Reminds me of when Emma told me after Evan was born that my "tummy was really big and really squishy." Or when I commented on him getting older/bigger and Evan told me "You're getting really big, too, Mommy" during my pregnancy with Eli. I walked into one last night when I asked Eli if he wanted his big sister or his big brother to go help him wash his hands. He replied, "I want you to, you're my big mommy."
