Owen Robert Willemsen was born at 8pm, July 14th, roughly one week early and at 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Laura was fantastic! She endured a very fast and painful labor. We arrived at the hospital about 6:15, and the OB barely reached us before he was born. Mom and babe are doing very well. Owen seems to have caught on to nursing already, and both had a good nights sleep:)

Hooray! Congratulations!!!!! Glad to hear all is well! Those first days are so precious......and exhausting..... Cherish every moment!!! As you know, it goes by all too quickly! :( Can't wait to see pictures!:)
